How do I get a new Google Voice account phone number or set it up with my SFUSD Google Account?

As of July 2019 Google ceased providing Google Voice as a free service for newly established Google Voice phone numbers. Google Voice accounts that were created in the past will continue to function but no new Google Voice phone numbers are being provided for free. In addition, SFUSD Google accounts are not eligible for new Google Voice phone numbers but you may subscribe using a non-SFUSD personal Google account.
