The Communications Office and DoT have embarked on a project to move all SFUSD web properties (sfusd.edu, intranet, school websites via School Loop, department websites, etc.) to a single community website on a content management system (CMS) that is modern, accessible, mobile- and search-friendly. We expect to launch a preliminary version this Fall. This version will include some migrated content and newly developed content. In preparation for the new community website, please:
- Share this information with your team who manage and/ or develop any website content.
- Minimize creation of new websites. If you must create a new site, use an SFUSD-sanctioned platform - MODx, SharePoint or Google Sites - and follow these guidelines for non-sfusd.edu websites.
- Prepare your content for migration by going through your current website content and making sure it is up-to-date and accurate.
School year 2018-2019 all SFUSD web content must be built on, or moved over to, the new SFUSD CMS. We will let you know as soon as you can sign up for training.
