Yes. Each currently enrolled (active) SFUSD student has a Google Apps account. Their username is the same as their current School Loop username but they'll need to add the "@s.sfusd.edu" domain name to be able to login, e.g. schoolLoopUserName@s.sfusd.edu. The default password for both Google Apps and School Loop should be the same and authorized school staff may look up students' accounts in Synergy SIS. Directions for retrieving the default passwords in Synergy can be found by clicking HERE. Keep in mind that Synergy SIS displays a student's default account password and will not reflect a student’s password if it’s been change by the student after being issued.
If a student can login to his or her School Loop account but cannot login to Google Apps, the account may be out of Sync. To Sync. the student's password, the best first step is to have the student navigate to https://mylogin.sfusd.edu and change the password to something else then back to their desired password.
If that doesn't work, you may also contact the SFUSD DoT Help Desk at 415-241-6476, option 1, and they can reset the student’s account to the default password then the student can navigate to https://mylogin.sfusd.edu to change the password to one of his/her own choosing.
